Stan Groff has made a career as a public welfare administrator mostly in rural Minnesota serving the last 25 years as the Director at Steele County Human Services in Owatonna. He has served on or been a founder numerous community, regional and statewide boards. As such he has an intimate knowledge of the strengths and shortcomings of both public and private sector governance and operations. Academically he holds degrees from the University of Minnesota and Florida State University and spent 14 years as a graduate adjunct assistant professor at St. Mary's University of Minnesota in the fields of health and social service policy and administration.
